Remnant Radio Ministries (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the Scripture Memory Game mobile application (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our App.

Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect:

First and last name — used to display your identity on leaderboards (shown as first name and last initial, e.g., “John S.”)
Email address — used for account authentication and identification

Authentication Data

If you sign up with email and password, your password is securely hashed using industry-standard encryption (bcrypt) and is never stored in plain text.
If you sign in with Google Sign-In, we receive your name and email address from your Google account. We do not access your Google contacts, calendar, files, or any other Google services.

Game Data

We collect data generated through your use of the App, including:

Game scores and results
Current and best win streaks
Journey level progression
Leaderboard rankings

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

Create and manage your account
Track your game progress and journey level
Display leaderboard rankings to other users (first name and last initial only)
Improve the App experience

Information We Do NOT Collect

We want to be transparent about what we do not collect:

Location data — We do not access or track your location.
Contacts — We do not access your address book or contacts.
Photos or media — We do not access your camera, photo library, or files.
Health or fitness data — We do not collect any health-related information.
Financial information — We do not collect payment or financial data.
Advertising identifiers — We do not use ad tracking or advertising SDKs.
Analytics or tracking — We do not use third-party analytics or tracking services.
Browsing history — We do not track your activity outside the App.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Your first name and last initial are visible to other App users on the leaderboard. No other personal information is shared with other users.

If you authenticate via Google Sign-In, your authentication is processed through Google’s secure OAuth 2.0 protocol. We only receive the basic profile information described above.

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure servers with encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS). Passwords are hashed using bcrypt and cannot be reversed or viewed by anyone, including our team.

Data Retention

We retain your account and game data for as long as your account is active. If you wish to delete your account and all associated data, please contact us at the email address below.

Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Correct inaccurate information on your account
Delete your account and all associated data
Withdraw consent for Google Sign-In at any time by revoking access through your Google Account settings

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes through the App or by updating the effective date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
